The Twin Oaks Hotel began as a derelict row of colliery cottages belonging to the old Ramcroft Colliery until it was closed in 1966. These cottages have been carefully renovated to retain their unique character. The process began in 1986 and took until 1987 to complete.

Twin Oaks is a family run and owned business, which ensures our service is personal yet professional in every way. Located just off M1, J29 on the edge of the Peak District we are ideally situated for both business and personal visits.

Our rooms have full facilities, ensuite, TV's, laundry service, 24 hour access and early breakfast can be arranged. The hotel restaurant is open to residents and non-residents alike, with a wide variety of fine cuisine using local produce to suit all tastes, home cooked by our highly experienced and trained chefs. Our carvery is especially popular and well known in the local area and beyond.

Twin Oaks Hotel bar boast all the character and charm that you would expect to find from these converted colliery houses. The exposed arched stone work is complemented by modern relaxing suites and an extremely well stocked bar. In the warmer months why not sit outside and enjoy the sun in our beer garden with a feature water fountain.
